The Capture Tool can be used to define specific cells in an Excel spreadsheet you would like to control in your configurator output. These cell references are called Excel output fields.
To capture a cell, select it in Excel, then click "Get Selected" in the capture tool. Then click "+Add" and give the field a name. This name will show up in the list of output fields in your configurator and will be accessible in your snap code once you save the template.
Output fields can also be deleted through the capture tool by highlighting them and clicking "delete". The same output fields will be deleted from your configurator when you click "save" in the capture tool.
You may save at any time. When you close the template, the tool will ask you if you want to save before closing. Click no if you would like to discard the latest changes you made.
Because they are so simple, it is also easy to manually create Excel output fields from the configurator. Learn more about Excel outputs here.
