- Analyze Snap logic within an Epicor CPQ Snap workspace.
- Detect simple code mistakes or harder-to-find anti-patterns, isolate them, and highlight them for repair.
- Detect performance bottlenecks or logic errors in the Snap code.
- Propose solutions to help you resolve problems.
Using the Snap Assistant
A new AI icon appears in the toolbar above any Snap workspace.
Clicking it opens a side panel, where you can ask the assistant to check for issues, optimize logic, explain what a set of blocks does, and more.

Trustworthy Help
Here’s why you can trust the Snap Assistant. The Snap Assistant is based on proven, mature Epicor Prism AI technology. As with all Epicor Prism AI agents, your company's data remains confidential and private. Specifically:
- Limited Scope
Code in your test environment is reviewed by the Snap Assistant only when you request it. Your production environment transactions, orders, configured products, and the like are never visible to the Snap Assistant. - Human in the middle
The Snap Assistant does not change your code. With its read-only access, it finds antipatterns and performance bottlenecks based on our decades of experience and best practices. It only highlights those concerns for your review and offers suggestions for correcting them. - No-train, no-retain data policy
The Snap Assistant, powered by Epicor Prism, uses third party transformer-based AI models (e.g. ChatGPT, Opus, etc.) that have a strict no-train, no-retain data policy. Epicor and Epicor customer data processed by the third party model generates answers, but the data is not trained on or stored by the third party.
Activating the Snap Assistant
We’re excited to help you write better configurator logic more efficiently. Here’s how you can get started.
- Licenses for both CPQ and Prism Core are required before the Prism-based CPQ Snap Assistant can be activated. You may already have a Prism Core license if you use other Epicor products like Kinetic. Visit EpicCare to confirm your current provisioning.
- Charges for the CPQ Snap Assistant consist of the Prism Core license fee and usage costs, which can be tracked in your Prism dashboard.
- Contact your Customer Account Manager (CAM) to learn more about licensing Epicor tools like the Snap Assistant.
