Understanding Epicor CPQ

Welcome!

No software to install.  Just you and the web.

Epicor CPQ is designed to help you configure, visualize, price, and quote products.  If you've come to this page because you have started to use Epicor CPQ to quote products, the links below will help you understand the basics of using our tool.

Epicor CPQ doesn't require any software for you to install.  All you need is a modern web browser, like the one you probably already use at work, on your tablet, or on your smartphone.

Easy to understand.  But your experience may be even easier.

Epicor CPQ's end-user pages (products, quotes, customers, contacts) are accessible by the general users of Epicor CPQ like you. This includes sales staff, end-user customers, self-registered users*, and anonymous users*. Anonymous users only have the ability to add products to quotes.  To submit those quotes, they'll be guided through a process to self-register*.

Depending on permission settings, registered users like you may or may not see some of the features described in the links below.  For example, you may not see the tabs called customers, or contacts.  You may not see certain properties of the quote you're working on.  Other features may be disabled as well.  Why?  An Administrator has adjusted these settings for you, to make your purchasing process as simple as possible.  So, don't be concerned if you learn about a feature below which you don't see yourself.

You've probably already received basic training.  But we're here if you haven't.

Usually, since each use of Epicor CPQ is different, the information below that's appropriate to you is gathered up for you by someone in your company.  Check your customer service, sales manager, or other contact to be sure you have all the specific information you need.  Until that time, feel free to look through these pages for general concepts.

*The features of self-registered users and anonymous users may or may not be enabled.
Ask your administrator for details.
